March 2010 - Following last year's success at Medilink's regional award for the best start-up business, InterVene has been awarded best start-up at Medilink's national awards in York. Managing Director, Matt Root was at the awards ceremony to collect the award and commented: "It’s never easy starting up a business from scratch, and the current economic climate has made it particularly difficult. However, everyone at InterVene has worked incredibly hard to contribute to our success this year and it is gratifying that all this energy and commitment has been recognised by Medilink. We were very proud to have won the award at regional level but to be voted best start-up healthcare business in the country has given us incredible confidence to forge ahead with our corporate strategy. The next challenge for us is to successfully commercialise our innovative, non-luer spinal / epidural connection system ahead of the National Patient Safety Agency alert which comes into force in April 2011."
Feb 2010 - InterVene provides syringes and connectors for a high-profile evaluation ahead of the launch of its Spinlalok® range of non-luer syringes for spinal & epidural use and for regional anaesthesia. The company is currently partnering with needle manufacturers by supplying connectors enabling their needles to be used with InterVene's non-luer spinal / epidural syringes. This is in response to the NPSA Alert (Nov 2010) which is aimed at eliminating luer syringes for epidural and spinal use from April 2011.

Again this year, InterVene visited Medica to expand its export business. Business Development Manager, Rachel Collyer commented, "We were delighted with the quality of visitors that cam to our stand this year. Although we probably had slightly fewer visitors than last year we are optimistic that significant business opportunities will result from this year's meetings."

July 2009 sees the opening of InterVene's new custom-built offices and warehouse at Waterloo Court, Markham Vale just off j29a of the M1 motorway. In the heart of the country, this new location offers access to over 80% of the population of UK within 4 hours by road.

InterVene's first appearance at Medica in Dusseldorf in Nov 2008 was a huge success with much interest from abroad and the development of many overseas partnerships.
