Testing of the Surety® system
Surety® non-Luer syringes have been tested independently to verify that they satisfy certain criteria set out by the National Patient Safety Agency in its document entitled:

In addition the NPSA has specified certain tests in its February 2011 newsletter, which should be carried out to confirm the microbiological integrity of the syringe / cap connection.
